**Please be noted that participants are limited to those who have registered.
Participants will be requested to show the invitation letter from the symposium office, which will be sent before Oct 15.

Time	Details
07:00	Depart from Phuket Graceland Resort and Spa to Phuket Pier by bus
08:00	Depart from Phuket Pier to Phi Phi Island, Krabi by boat
09:30	Arrive Phi Phi Island and visit central wastewater treatment of Phi Phi Island by constructed wetland and a reservoir as a water resource for Phi Phi Island
11:30	Lunch at Chao Koh Restaurant
12:30	Free time in Phi Phi Island
15:00	Depart from Phi Phi Island to visit interesting sites for tourist around Phi Phi Island such as Viking Cave, Maya Bay and back to Phuket Pier (Snorkeling will be an optional activity with 50 THB fee to be collected by tour agency)
17:00	Depart from Phuket Pier and back to Phuket Graceland Resort and Spa by bus
18:00	Welcome Reception at Phuket Graceland Resort and Spa

The following specific subjects related to Asian water environment, especially in Southeast Asia, are selected as the topics.

Water environmental issues and sustainability
Water management in touristic area
Appropriate technologies
Groundwater issues
Water and Wastewater treatment
Water reuse technologies
Health-related water microbiology
Water quality monitoring and modeling
Water and aquatic resource management
Challenges in environmental education
Public participation and involvement

Other topics related to water environment are also welcome. Participation from Industrial sectors and NGO/NPO is also welcome.

Financial Assistance

Full support (a round trip air ticket, coach class, and accommodation) or partial support (accommodation only) will be provided for selected platform presenters from the developing Asian region. Presenters from developed countries will not be supported even though they originally may have been residents of developing countries.
