We cancelled the plan for technical tour on the first day of the symposium
due to the flooding. On December 1, WateR-InTro and IMPAC-T, co-organizers
of the symposium, hold a joint-symposium "2011 Chaophraya river flood ~
How can we save our society by Science & Technology from water related
disaster? ~" as a pre-symposium event. The symposium is open to the public
and no pre-registration and no registration fee required.
Registration desk for the SEAWE symposium will be open in the evening on
December 1, followed by welcome reception.
Presentation Guideline
Oral Presentation:
- Each oral presentation consists of 20 min of presentation followed by 5 min of discussion.
- Each conference room will be equipped with a laptop PC, a screen and a projector. Internet connection will not be available in conference rooms.
- PCs will be equipped with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office 2007. Macintosh presentations should be formatted accordingly. Fonts installed in laptops are only standard ones.
- Please bring your presentation file in a USB memory when you register on Dec. 1st. Please do not bring your presentation on a laptop as switching computers between presentations unduly delays processing.
Poster presentations:
- The size of poster board is 90cm width and 180cm height with stands. Please prepare your poster within A0 size.
- Allocate the top of the poster for the title, authors, and their affiliations as stated on the submitted paper or abstract. The text, illustrations, and so on should be bold enough to be read from a distance of two meters.
- Pushpins and stickers will be provided for mounting posters.
- Please put the poster by 2nd noon on the poster board.
