Transport Information

The venue has easy access to train station(left image), the city center(center) and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA, right). It is in the southwest of Kuala Lumpur city, across an Expressway from the Universiti Malaya.
Kuala Lumpur city center is approximately 50 kilometers north of KLIA.

Public transportation

The international airport (KLIA) ⇒ KL Sentral station**

Take the direct KLIA Express Line (6) (or KLIA Transit Line (7))
It takes around 30 min and costs RM 55/100 (one way/round trip).

KL Sentral ⇒ The nearest station

Take the LRT Kelana Jaya Line (5)* to Kerinchi station (KJ18).

The station ⇒ The venue

7-10 min walk (walking does not pose any problems)

* This LRT Line connects directly to the city center.
** Main train station, which has access to various public transportation. Also a few stations away from the various tourist attraction places around KL, such as Central Market (Pasar Seni station) and Petronas Twin Tower (KLCC).

Grab vs Taxi

Most Malaysians rely on Grab (Ride-hailing app) instead of taxi due to its much cheaper cost and more reliable route plan.

Estimated price of Grab

KLIA ⇒ the venue:RM 70 (57 kilometers)
Kerinchi station ⇒ the venue:RM 7 (5 kilometers)
- Price may vary during peak hour.
- From KL Sentral station to the venue, taking the train is recommended since the road will be quite jammed.

Taxi from the international airport to the city center

Budget taxi:RM 70-100
Executive taxi:RM 130-150
50% late night surcharge
